Leathered in Lincoln 2020 Update - Current status: Going ahead as normal.
Date: 18th March 2020
We are continuing to monitor the situation with regards to COVID-19 and how it will affect our events such as Leathered in Lincoln
With just over 18 weeks to go we are currently adopting a wait and see approach as to what measures are required in order to keep our campers safe. This is due to the advice changing daily on safe practices and recommendations for the safety of people at large scale events.
We have been delivering Leathered for many years and will ensure that nothing comes before the safety of those attending. We also realise that in the time between now and Leathered, things can change significantly, however estimates from experts predict the virus will have already seen its peak by this time.
We realise that there are many people now cancelling their rallies/events which not only causes considerable disappointment and hardship for the clubs and charitable organisations involved it also leaves an emptiness in our way of life. Outdoor events such as Leathered in Lincoln may become a very welcomed highlight for friends and families assuming government advice allows them to take place.
For this reason, we are not rushing to make decisions and we are operating "business as usual" so we can concentrate on delivering at our very best
If for any reason our rally cannot take place this year, we will allow you to use your tickets at next years rally or offer full refunds for those wishing to claim. Rest assured you have this safety net when booking your tickets
There are 3 potential ways forward for Leathered in Lincoln 2020: 1) It goes ahead as planned 2) we move it later into the year, 3) We postpone to 2021.
Please be assured we are working hard around the global situation to manage the information that comes through and the testing times that we all face.
For those still looking to prebook, the website is still taking orders at this time but tickets wont be dispatched until we can confirm the status of Leathered.
Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in a field somewhere soon.
